One of the most successful groups of the 1970s, The Eagles scored six #1 albums and five number #1 singles. Their Greatest Hits (1971–1975), remains one of the top selling albums in U.S. history, having sold more than 29 million copies.
Originally comprised of Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Bernie Leadon and Randy Meisner, The Eagles formed in 1971 and continue to perform–their last album, Long Road out of Eden, was released in 2007. The band has earned six Grammy Awards, has been inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and was listed as one of Rolling Stone‘s “100 Greatest Artists of All Time.”
The hi-res remastering of the entire Eagles box set was done using the original analog master tapes by Bernie Grundman Mastering using a JCF Audio Latte A/D converter.
