Chuck Berry Is on Top is the third studio album by rock and roll artist Chuck Berry, released in July 1959 on Chess Records, catalogue LP 1435. With the exception of one track, “Blues for Hawaiians”, all selections had been previously released on 45 rpm singles, several of which were double-sided and charted twice. In his review of the album for AllMusic, Cub Koda described it as “almost a mini-greatest-hits package in and of itself” and the most perfectly realized collection of Berry’s career. In 2008, Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab reissued the album with St. Louis to Liverpool on an Ultradisc II Gold compact disc. In 2012, Hoodoo reissued the album with One Dozen Berrys on the same CD.

Charles Hardin Holley (September 7, 1936 – February 3, 1959), known as Buddy Holly, was an American songwriter who was a central and pioneering figure of mid-1950s rock and roll. He was born to a musical family in Lubbock, Texas, during the Great Depression, and learned to play guitar and sing alongside his siblings. Holly’s style was influenced by gospel music, country music, and rhythm and blues acts, which he performed in Lubbock with his friends from high school.

Celebrating his 70th birthday on March 5th, the American composer John Stamp (b. 1954) – universally known as ‘Jack’ – is a familiar figure in the worlds of the symphonic wind-band movement that flourishes in US universities and of the brass band on both sides of the Atlantic. When the Barcelona Clarinet Players asked him for a new work, and then proposed this album, he had to create the repertoire from scratch. The range of moods he has generated here is surprisingly wide, from gentle night-music that caresses the ear, via jaunty fugal textures and buoyant counterpoint, to catchy dance-rhythms that set the foot tapping.

In 2002 and 2003, following the release of his album UP, Peter Gabriel went on the road with his Growing Up tour, once again collaborating with production designer Robert Lepage to create a spectacular and theatrical live experience. The tour took in thirty-two cities across the USA, Canada and Europe and this concert performance was recorded over two nights at the Filaforum in Milan in May 2003, with Peter Gabriel and the band performing in the round at the centre of the arena.

The eighth historical release from archival imprint Real to Reel Records is an unreleased concert recording from baritone saxophonist Pepper Adams with the Tommy Banks Trio. Adams is best known for his work with John Coltrane, Charles Mingus, Lee Morgan, Donald Byrd and countless other jazz legends. The 100-minute performance was recorded on September 25th, 1972 at the University of Alberta.

The Pearl Jam 2016 North America Tour is an current concert tour by the American rock band Pearl Jam. The tour is scheduled to consist of twenty-five shows in the United States and Canada, including appearances at the New Orleans Jazz Festival and the Bonnaroo Music Festival. This is the first tour following the Latin American Tour that finished in 2015. The first leg of the tour started on April 8 in Sunrise, Florida and is scheduled to finish on May 12 in Toronto. The band are then scheduled to play at the Bonnaroo Festival in June, before playing two shows at Fenway Park, Boston and two shows at Wrigley Field, Chicago in August.
Additional festival appearances at the Ride Festival and the Pemberton Music Festival in July were announced after the arena dates had been published. Rolling Stone listed the tour as one of the 20 hottest tours of 2016.
